.قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "أَفْضَلُ الصَّدَقَةِ سَقْيُ الْمَاءِ

(Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith 3684)

"The best form of charity is giving water to drink."

This Hadith highlights the immense reward for providing one of the most essential resources water to those in need. Allah (SWT) also reminds us in the Qur’an about the importance of charity:

اللَّهِ الَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ مَثَلُ الَّذِي يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ كَمَثَلِ حَبَّةٍ أَنبَتَتْ سَبْعَ سَنَابِلَ فِي كُلِّ سُنبُلَةٍ مِائَةُ حَبَّةٍ وَاللَّهُ يُضَاعِفُ لِمَن يَشَاءُ وَاللَّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ

(Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:261)

"The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed of grain that sprouts seven ears; in every ear are a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies His reward for whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing."
